Who is this caller?

If you are getting many unwanted calls or will like to know more information about your callers, there are many apps in the Android Market like WhitePages, but Truecaller seems to have done a job better with caller id and information gathering by including more details than most Android apps that try to reveal the information of callers that are not listed in your contact list.

The app can match phone numbers to names, addresses, social networks, and even pictures. It offers a unique web based CallerID information gather that can not be found in any other apps. The app automatically engages when you receive or place a call to a phone number that's not already in your address book, searching online for identifying information connected with that number.
Within seconds, it displays public information associated with that phone number on the Web, such as the  party's name, address, region, and country.

If available, the display will even include the caller's picture, or most recent status messages from Facebook or Linkedin. This is definitely a great app for people that receive lots of telemarketing calls.

Note: Verizon, Sprint, and other CDMA wireless customers with need Wi-Fi to enjoy this app.
