How To Upload Files Wirelessly and Quickly

Plug your USB cable and select the option in your notification bar to mount your SD card as a storage device. This is how files are uploaded to your phone isn’t it? But, what if you are not carrying the USB cable with you?

You can use the Bluetooth option for Android phones on the newer firmware, but the speed of about 3Mbps is a limiting factor. It takes several minutes to transfer a few music albums or a feature length movie. Instead, you can use the 54Mbps Wi-Fi capabilities of your Android phone. All you require is an FTP client on your computer, like FileZilla, and an FTP Server app like FTPServer from the Android Marketplace.
